Southborough, Mass. – Sept. 26, 2018 – The New England Center for Children® (NECC®), a global leader in education and research for children with autism, announced today the election of Daniel N. Saul to the Board of Directors. Mr. Saul is a private investor with early-stage technology companies.

“Dan Saul is a great addition to The New England Center for Children’s Board of Directors, and we are grateful for his participation and leadership,” said Vincent Strully, President and CEO of The New England Center for Children. “Dan’s perspective on business and technology will add real value to the Board, and further our mission of transforming the lives of children with autism worldwide.”

“I’ve been incredibly impressed by The New England Center for Children’s ability to combine education, technology, and research to develop evidence-based approaches to ensure that each child with autism is able to reach his or her potential,” said Mr. Saul.  “I’m honored to join the remarkable NECC community of students, families, educators, researchers and staff.  Despite growing awareness of autism, it remains underinvested. Organizations such as NECC that provide care, increase our scientific knowledge, and advance our teaching methods are more important than ever.”

Prior to his private investment practice, Mr. Saul was the CEO and Founder of Smarter Travel Media. The company was acquired in 2007 by TripAdvisor. Prior to founding Smarter Travel Media, Mr. Saul was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton’s Marketing-Intensive Practice, where he specialized in strategic planning for media and entertainment companies.
