ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide instruction to the students through the implementation of the scientific principles of behavior analysis (ABA therapy) across all hours of the students’ day and in all environments.
- Implementation of students’ clinical, educational, vocational, behavior management, and daily living skills objectives.
- Ensure safety and provide intervention in response to challenging behavior
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work a full-time position
- High School degree/ equivalent and one year of related experience
- Candidates who have completed an associate’s degree given preference
- Interest in working with children or young adults
- Looking to gain knowledge and understanding of the principles of ABA and best educational practices
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, US driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Successful completion of NECC required trainings
- CALM safety training: Physical requirements of the job include extensive movement to provide physical intervention in response to challenging behavior
