Working with the Director of Development and Communications, the Director of Community Partnerships, and the Advancement Services Specialist, the Development Coordinator is an integral part of the development team, providing administrative support to the department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the team
  • Order supplies, materials, services as needed for the department
  • Organize and maintain inventory of promotional items and event-related materials
  • Coordinate logistics for annual fundraising events (gala, golf tournaments, 5K)  
  • Work with vendors on all aspects of event details, including permits, contracts, services, catering, A/V, invitations, programs, promotion, etc.
  • Solicit and track auction donations for fundraising events
  • Acknowledge auction donations and transfer contact information from donor to winning bidder.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Interest in fundraising, marketing, and events
  • Excellent organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects, goals, and deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; Raisers Edge database preferred
  • Confident and customer service oriented
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to use independent judgment on varied and complex tasks
  • Ability to deal with confidential information
