The Director of Talent Acquisition will work under the supervision of the Executive Director and is responsible for developing and leading the overall talent acquisition strategy for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Talent and Acquisition Management- reinforces effective recruiting strategies and procedures to support staffing needs.
- Recruitment – ongoing recruiting effort to secure staff to support students that include direct care staff and non-direct care positions for the agency.
- Leadership – supervises a recruiting team of 5 recruiters
- Administrative- maintains team communications and oversees recruiting policies and procedures, ensuring practices are inclusive and foster a positive candidate experience
- Marketing- Recruiting communication and materials around a consistent employer brand
- Data- Measure key recruitment metrics and determine recruitment effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of management in Talent Acquisition for a non-profit agency or similar suited environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading-edge recruitment strategies and techniques, including the use of technology (CRM, ATS, HRIS) and data analytics.
- Proven ability to manage a team.
- Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring.
- A leader and strategic thinker who is driven by a need to succeed.
- Able to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate their effectiveness.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to travel by train and air to participate in job fairs, local or long distance on occasion.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
