The New England Center for Children (NECC) was recently named one of the best employers for entry-level positions by College Grad, a top entry-level job site. According to College Grad, hiring of new college grads in 2022 is already up 22 percent and more jobs have been posted in comparison to last year. Of the more than 400 U.S.-based employers listed, NECC stood strong with 225 new entry-level hires.

Despite the pandemic and national staffing shortage crises, NECC continues to focus on its mission to help children with autism lead fuller lives. NECC is an ideal place to start one’s career in special education due to the organization’s commitment to community education, especially among its own staff, to best serve children with autism. In addition to a rewarding and meaningful career, new employees at NECC receive several benefits, including medical and dental insurance, five weeks of paid vacation to start, and the opportunity to earn a free master’s degree. Right now, certain hires can earn up to $10,000 in signing bonuses.

NECC also has a robust internship program, in which hundreds of students complete their practicum and course hours during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
