On May 5, David and Elizabeth Klein, a member of The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Board of Directors. hosted the fourth annual Art Show on behalf of NECC. The Art Show returned to an in-person event after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.

Nearly 100 individuals – including NECC students and families and friends of the organization — gathered at the Southborough Community House for the event, which showcased more than 60 pieces of artwork created by NECC students and staff as well as great works from local professional artists.

“It was such a pleasure the once again host the Art Show, bringing together so many supporters from the NECC and local communities,” said Beth Klein. “Being able to showcase, and witness others enjoy, the tremendous talent of our students, staff, and community artists is what makes this event so special. Being able to raise funds for NECC on top of it, that’s a fantastic, yet very important, bonus.”

Through the silent auction, NECC raised more than $11,500 that will directly benefit the students of NECC. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase fixed priced items for the students, such as iPads, art kits, as well as pizza, bowling, and ice cream parties.
