On May 14, 2026, NECC was honored with a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for the creative video: One Powerful Place. Senior Director of Development and Communications, Beth McGonagle, and Social Media Coordinator, Lauren Materia, travelled to New York to attend the 82nd Annual Anvil Awards and claim the plaque.

This recognition reflects the extraordinary stories, people and impact at the heart of our mission. Created in partnership with Colossus Agency and narrated by Jon Stewart, the film highlights 50 years of work, research, innovation, and community that have shaped the fields of applied behavior analysis and autism education. Thousands of lives are transformed and an equal number of careers launched from the phenomenal research, training, and teaching that happen every day on our campus in Southborough and in our programs throughout the world.
