On June 24, WHDH Channel 7 in Boston aired a “7 Investigates” feature about NECC’s Early Markers of Autism Project. The piece focused on the Ostrowsky family, whose 10-year-old daughter Colby attends NECC’s residential program. When the Ostrowskys welcomed their second child, Camden, they knew there was a one in five chance he would be also one day be diagnosed with autism.

The NECC team began working with Camden as an infant. Though he showed developmental delays with both movement and speech, thanks to early intervention and the NECC research team, Camden is now on the same level as his peers.
