For the last six years, Matt Maloney has dedicated himself to making a difference in the lives of children with autism at NECC. For Maloney, who currently works as a level 2 teacher in NECC’s Intensive Instructional Program (IIP), being able to help others is something he’s passionate about.
Ellie Storey, a residential coordinator for NECC’s Francine Road team, was nominated for Staff Spotlight because “since she joined our team, she has been effective at taking on staff feedback and quickly implementing it, which has greatly improved and fostered better communication, teamwork, and a strong and positive work ethic.”
Casey Gormely has worked as a level 2 teacher in the IIP at NECC for about a year. She was nominated for Staff Spotlight because “she is always going above and beyond for her students. The students are always so happy to see her, and I’ve never met a more positive person.”
Yoselin Hernandez-Avalos was nominated for Staff Spotlight because “she consistently goes above and beyond to support the team. She’s always ready to lend a hand, whether it’s problem-solving or offering guidance.”
Olivia Pandola, a teacher in The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Intensive Instruction Program (IIP), has worked at NECC for two years. She was nominated for Staff Spotlight because she is “such a great teacher and coworker” and “a pleasure to work with.”
Vanesa Valdes, a level 2 teacher for NECC’s Salem End Road residential team, was nominated for Staff Spotlight because she “goes above and beyond to make meaningful relationships with her students and is always willing to help fellow staff. Vanesa is a great resource and is so supportive!”
Grace Donahue, a level 2 teacher, was nominated for Staff Spotlight because she’s “always the first to respond whenever anyone needs help.”
Shannon Rawson, a level 2 teacher, was nominated for Staff Spotlight because “the way she interacts with her students is truly special—she always knows how to bring a smile to their faces and consistently goes above and beyond to pay it forward.”
Bailey Williams has worked as a level 2 teacher for The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Intensive Instruction Program (IIP) for a year. She was nominated by a colleague because she has “the most positive attitude. She’s always willing to drop whatever she’s doing and help out.”
