Monday, June 3 was an un-fore-gettable day as 124 golfers gathered to celebrate the 26th Annual Carlos Placido Dunkin’ Golf Classic for Autism at the Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA. The event raised $160,000 for The New England Center for Children (NECC).

The Dunkin’ Golf Classic for Autism was established in 1997 by Dunkin’ franchisees Carlos Placido and Neal Faulkner, who has also been a member of the NECC Board of Directors for many years. The tournament is NECC’s longest-running fundraiser and has raised nearly $3 million for the Annual Fund since its inception. Funds raised from the event support NECC’s award-winning programs for students at the school in Southborough, in public schools throughout New England, and through consulting and the ACE® ABA Software System across the globe.

“The Dunkin’ Golf Classic is one of my favorite days of the year because I can share my passion for NECC with my colleagues while raising money for this extremely important cause. I have been involved with NECC for many years, and I am proud to support the education and research being conducted at NECC to improve the lives of those with autism.”

The Dunkin’ Golf Classic, which was presented by Epsilon this year, offers golfers an afternoon on the course as well as a buffet lunch and dinner, a live auction, raffles, and awards.
