Professional Development

At the heart of our mission is the knowledge that in order to serve as many children with autism as possible, we must reach beyond our own walls. That’s why training the next generation of autism educators and researchers is an important part of our model.

Graduate Programs

We are committed to industry-leading staff professional development, including free on-site master’s degree programs in special education and applied behavior analysis, as well as financial assistance for the ABA doctoral program.

Our onsite graduate degree programs are an exclusive benefit for NECC employees only.

Internships

Each year, many undergraduate and graduate students have rewarding internship experiences at NECC.

The internship program is designed to meet academic requirements, while providing relevant experience in the application of behavior analysis principles with students who have special needs. The opportunity to train and work alongside top professionals in an occupational environment and have access to professional workshops makes these internships highly desirable.
