This week, representatives from Apex Entertainment presented The New England Center for Children (NECC) with a $6,500 check. These crucial funds will help provide NECC students with the services they need to live full and productive lives.

Since 2020, Apex has proven to be an invaluable community partner for NECC. During the pandemic, Apex provided NECC families with low-cost meal options to donate to students in the residential program, and last year began offering job placements for students through NECC’s vocational department. Apex has also supported NECC through a variety of sponsorships and its staff have volunteered at events such as the Annual 5K Walk/Run for Autism and the much-loved Field Day.

“As an Apex representative, I feel that our partnership and our friendship with NECC has been one of the greatest things we’ve been able to mature and grow since we’ve been in business,” said George Aronstein, director of operations at Apex Entertainment Corporate. “I think the ability to give back and to consistently give back and to be proud of every dollar that we are able to help out with is why we keep doing this. Between the field goal contests, being a part of the NECC 5K, donating and being a part of the annual gala, we are always interested in being a part and associated with NECC.”

For the third consecutive year, Apex will donate $100 to NECC for every Patriots field goal made during the 2022 season through the Apex Cares program. Part of the $6,500 check that was presented to NECC’s Chief Development Officer Jared Bouzan was from last year’s field goal sponsorship.

“The staff and students at NECC are so grateful for Apex’s continued partnership,” said Bouzan. “They have not only supported the organization financially but have demonstrated a strong commitment to being true community partners and champions of autism awareness. From their involvement with our events to their autism-friendly hours at the complex, we could not ask for better neighbors and supporters.”

A percentage of Apex’s upcoming Fun Run 5K, which will be held on September 17 at Apex in Marlborough, will also be donated to NECC. All NECC students are invited to participate in the event for free with the code APEX while other members of the NECC community can receive $10 off with the code FunRun22 when registering.
