Emmy® Award for One Powerful Place video

NECC was honored by the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with an Emmy® in the category of Outstanding Branded Content – Short Form Video for One Powerful Place, a film created to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

The award marks the third major honor in as many weeks for the anniversary project. Narrated by comedian and advocate Jon Stewart, the four-minute film captures the breadth of NECC’s impact over five decades—highlighting the school’s growth, innovation, and commitment to children with autism and their families.

We are thrilled that One Powerful Place has received this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to share the stories of the students, families, and staff who make NECC such a special community. The film has helped shine a spotlight on the life-changing work happening every day across our organization.

The Emmy® statuette was presented during the annual awards ceremony on June 6 to representatives of Colossus Agency, NECC’s creative partner on the project, and NECC’s Vice President of Development and Strategy.
