Our mission is to teach students with autism the skills necessary to function effectively within their school, community, and families by providing exceptional instruction within their home district.
Through our Consulting and Public School Services Program, we collaborate with over 100 public schools across New England through model classrooms and consultation.
Building Skills for School and Community Success
Our comprehensive Partner Program Classrooms include a full-time master’s-level certified lead teacher, weekly clinical supervision from a NECC BCBA®, ACE® ABA Software System curriculum, as well as modification of general education curriculum, and comprehensive staff training and ongoing mentorship.
Partner Program Classrooms are a cost-effective way for school districts to improve their services for special education students.

Cooperative Classrooms
Partnership for Effective Learning and Support
Our Cooperative Classrooms work in a similar manner but with a district-hired full-time certified teacher, direct-care paraprofessionals, and weekly administrative support to the teacher and classroom.
NECC provides weekly consultation from a senior-level BCBA, access to the ACE® ABA Software System, and staff training.
Consultation
NECC consultants provide short- and long-term consultation to school districts to provide expertise in behavior reduction and skill acquisition programming, while building the capacity of district staff to effectively serve students with autism.
Evaluations
Experienced NECC consultants provide in-depth and objective evaluations of students, programs, and districts, identifying areas of strength and areas for improvement, along with recommendations to achieve goals.
Staff Training
NECC offers professional development sessions on topics in special education and supporting students with autism and related needs. Training sessions can be scheduled on-site at your school or agency or conducted virtually. Examples of training include:
