Annual Carlos Placido-Dunkin Donuts Golf Classic for Autism Raises $189K

The annual Carlos Placido- Dunkin’ Donuts Golf Classic for Autism was held at the Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA on Monday, June 4, 2018.  Started 21 years ago by Dunkin’ franchisee Neal Faulkner, the event has raised more than $2 million since its founding.

On Monday, 124 golfers and philanthropists gathered under rainy skies to dine, golf, and support the NECC Annual Fund through sponsorships, raffles and a live auction, raising more than $189,000.  The Annual Fund provides financial support to ensure children with autism at NECC and throughout our programs around the world receive additional supports needed to provide a comprehensive educational program:  adapted physical education equipment, transportation to and from vocational jobs, instructive technology, the latest educational research breakthroughs, and much more.
