Catherine Martin, BCBA, began her career in autism education with an internship at NECC. While so many of our teachers come to NECC after graduating, for others like Catherine, the opportunity to intern at NECC while still in college provides a unique and valuable experiential learning opportunity. Catherine interned on a residential team, growing as a caregiver and behavior analyst, before completing her undergraduate degree, earning her master’s degree, and becoming a Board Certiied Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Since leaving NECC, Catherine has continued her career in autism education working at an independent school in North Carolina.
