Parent Education Series
The New England Center for Children (NECC) is offering a series of informational sessions for family members of children with autism. The presentations include topics of interest and importance towards the goal of helping participants better understand, advocate, and care for their family member with ASD and their families as a whole. In addition to the presentation, each session will have time allocated for questions and answers.
Continuing Education for BCBAs
Attend NECC’s ongoing CE Webinar Series for BCBAs. This series offers a variety of different webinars for BCBAs to advance their knowledge while gaining CEs. The subjects and presenters are constantly changing to ensure the most topical discussion in the field.
CALM is a medically-evaluated physical intervention program developed by NECC focusing on de-escalation and the safety of students and staff. CALM procedures are not intended to be used as a behavior intervention program or to reduce challenging behaviors. CALM was developed specifically for professionals working with students over the age of 5 and diagnosed with autism or related disorders.
