This service may be provided to school personnel (special education teachers, supervisors, ABA therapists, classroom aides, regular education teachers), individual students, classrooms or schools.
This service begins with an assessment of the needs of the child, school or agency served. The number of hours provided will be determined by recommendations made by NECC. The consultant provides ongoing feedback as to whether (or the extent to which) perceived goals can be achieved give this amount of time.
Staff Development and Training
Various trainings and workshops are available to train therapists working with individuals with ASDs. Each individual training is tailored to meet the needs of the specific target audience (i.e., educational and experience levels of therapists). All trainings can include pretest/posttest written assessments as well as observational demonstrated competency assessments when applicable. (Note: this is a sample and there is no intent to imply a sequence or priority to the topics/trainings listed.). All trainings are conducted by a Masters’ Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
