NECC’s growth would not be possible without having a strong community surrounding it. This community does not just include NECC friends, families, and staff members, but also the residents of Southborough who have supported NECC throughout the years. We are proud to have a strong partnership with town representatives especially the Board of Selectmen, town employees and the Police and Fire Departments who have been so helpful in understanding our students and staff and their needs when responding. The residents of Southborough have been incredibly generous and supportive of our students and staff. Elizabeth Wetherbee Klein has been a strong advocate for our students and serves on NECC’s Board of Directors. Many other residents volunteer, participate and support the NECC Student Art Show, the 5K Walk/Run for Autism, and the Children of Promise Gala. Others have run the Boston Marathon and the Falmouth Road Race for team NECC. The town of Southborough as a community, plays a key role in NECC’s success.
