45 Stories of Inspiration: Kim Keogh and the Homebased and Day Programs

Kim Keogh has been at NECC for over 25 years and currently serves as the Director of the IIP and Homebased Programs. Kim oversees the largest part of our Southborough program and is an incredible mentor to all of her teachers and specialists. NECC’s Home-Based Services program brings the expertise and compassion of NECC’s clinicians and teachers directly into clients’ homes. The home-based program started in 1996 by Dr. Rebecca McDonald and Renèe Mansfield, brings ABA principles to children under the age of 3. Twenty four years after its beginning, the program has helped hundreds of young children with autism diagnoses. At our campus in Southborough, students between the ages of 3 and 22 attend school year-round, and receive life skills training, speech and language therapy, physical therapy and adapted physical education, as well as vocational training when they turn 14. Thank you to all of our clinicians, teachers and directors for enhancing our mission each day.
