Welcome to our Research Newsletter section. Through this newsletter we hope to let families, practitioners, researchers, and others in the NECC community know about some of the research being conducted at NECC. We will also include, from time to time, updates on scientific research on Autism and other developmental disorders that is being conducted elsewhere.

Of course, we can't begin to cover all of the burgeoning research on these topics, but we will attempt to summarize major developments as we learn of them, and to point readers to credible sources of further information. Along the way, we will provide some tips on how to sift through the ever-increasing and confusing array of reports about Autism, and treatments for it, to determine which of those reports are reliable, and why.

We hope this newsletter will promote the importance of effective treatment of Autism through the application of good science. We encourage you to e-mail us with questions related to research so we may help interested readers identify credible and valid findings in our field.
