Autism
and Early Childhood
Education
The goal of early
childhood intervention
is to teach young
children with autism
and other developmental
disabilities the
skills necessary
to be successful
learners. NECC’s
early childhood
autism programs
include the Home-Based
Program and the
Preschool Program
for children with
autism.

Day
School for Children
with Autism
The NECC Day School
serves children
with autism ages
5 to 22 in two types
of classrooms year-round,
five days a week
from 9AM to 3PM.
Most of the students
in the day school
reside within one
hour of the central
school building.

NECC-Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Located just minutes from the cornice, NECC-AD provides intensive 1:1 services utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism and PDD ages 3-9. Classrooms run year round, Sunday through Thursday, from 8-2. NECC-AD is a replication of the services found in our U.S. school.

Residential
Programs for Children
with Autism
NECC’s residential
programs offer students
with autism and
other developmental
disabilities a combination
of education and
socialization in
a consistent, safe
setting. Students
reside in comfortable
homes in residential
neighborhoods near
the school’s
main campus. Monday
through Friday,
the students attend
school at the Center
from 9:30AM to 3:30PM
with Saturday sessions
October through
May.

Transition
Through our Transition
Program, an NECC
teacher accompanies
the child back to
their local school,
ensuring a sustained
level of support
for the child, and
easing the child's
adjustment to a
new program.

Program
Through our Adult
Residential Program,
adults with autism
and other developmental
disabilities are
given the chance
to develop the skills
and independence
needed to foster
successful integration
into the community

Model ABA Classrooms
The Model ABA Classrooms are a collaboration between NECC and public
school systems designed to offer students with autism the unique
opportunity to receive intensive individualized services within
