The
New England Center for Children provides
a full range of educational, residential
and treatment programs designed to help
children with autism and other developmental
disabilities reach their full potential.
Our overriding goal is to provide state-of-the-art
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) when
teaching children with autism, thereby
increasing their abilities to function
and communicate successfully with as
much independence as possible. Each
program has been developed to address
varying skills and multiple levels of
functioning.
Teaching
Students with Autism and Other Developmental
Disabilities
At NECC, the physical and psychological
well being of children with autism is
of paramount importance. Emphasizing
independence, skill development, and
safety, our autism services have been
carefully developed to deliver superior
care and heightened learning opportunities
for each child we serve. To that end,
our services complement our programs
by teaching students with autism though
real world opportunities and experiences
essential to physical, cognitive and
psychological growth. Services are based
on the principles of Applied Behavior
Analysis and are adjusted to meet the
needs of each individual student with
autism.
