Dr. Brian Iwata to Serve as NECC Senior Research Scientist

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Brian Iwata agreed to serve as NECC Senior Research Scientist for the coming two years. Brian Iwata is currently Research Foundation Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Florida, Director of the Florida Center on Self-Injury, and Co-Director of the University of Florida Autism Program.

Dr. Iwata is also a past president of the Association of Applied Behavior Analysis, editor of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and the Ph.D. advisor of our own Eileen Roscoe, Assistant Director of Research. He is a premier researcher in ABA, particularly in the areas of functional analysis and best clinical treatment practices. Dr. Iwata is truly a well-respected giant in the field and we are excited to have him share his expertise with us.
