NECC Student Council "Night of Elegance"

On Wednesday, November 12, 2003 the NECC Student Council held their first prom of the school year, “The Night of Elegance. This gala event included dancing with a DJ, movies and lots of food and fun. Council members Devin, Robert, Ricky, Jason , Nik, Laura, Brian and Anderson did the decorating using a theme of “Rock and Roll” with red, black and sliver stars and streamers. About 50 students attended the prom from the Francine, Parker, New Castle, Oak, Saddlehill, SIU, Temple, Ursala, Westboro l, Westboro ll, Transition, Preschool and Day school teams. Gustavo, Lamar and Anderson led the students on the dance floor dancing to the electric slide, chicken dance and all the latest hits. Asked about how he felt the event was, Anderson described it as “wonderful. Everyone looked marvelous all dressed up”. Ricky summed up the night for everyone as “Fantastic! The food was great and the music was great”
