Update on Annual Fund – Alycia Kinney:

> Fiscal year 2006 $487,389 renovations to residences, computers, treadmills

> Last fiscal year 28% of parents participated in annual fund, now 38%

> Goal for this year is $350,000

Update on Capital Campaign – RoseAnn Lovely:

> Two significant gifts in Aug/Sept $250K pledge from a new parent and a $500K pledge from an existing parent

> Kresge Foundation Challenge Grant of $500K, will know soon…

> We now have 3,274,165 (425K left to go if Kresge approved)

Bob Russo commented on an increase in construction costs as time goes on.
RoseAnn encouraged parents to sponsor cultivation events.

Update on Occupational Therapy Services – Kristen Sidman

> Newly introduced programs:

Homebased New fine motor group

> Handwriting without tears
> Continuation of open gym

Preschool and Day Programs

> Handwriting without tears
> Morning sign in
> Bike riding (Trek bikes, all sizes)
> Cooperative Games

Residential OT groups in grooming, arts and crafts, and handwriting

> Increased participation in Special Olympics
> Cooperative games in gym
> New technology in gym: DVD, workout tapes, yoga (kids in The videos)

> Pool Update:

Approval of Minutes from August 14, 2006

Treasurer's Report : we have a credit balance of $ 12,008.13, no new transactions this month

Commitee Updates:

> Activities Family Day:

• Issue with flyer to be remedied tomorrow
• Help needed with et up at noon
• Everyone will enjoy ice cream, moon walk, NECC wear table, etc

> Staff Appreciation: : Now organizing bags, will be delivered to NECC, need volunteers to distribute 10/4

> Fundraising: The Night of Music is 11/4/06. Tickets are $125. Brochure in proof, someone will present info at parent’s night.

> Parent’s Night: Update on capital campaign, student counsel presentation, pictures of kids, vocational update
