Minutes from November 13, 2006
Present:
Wandajune Bishop-Towle, Jeannette Gould, Jill Mark, Rich Martin, Angela Masielllo, Bob Ruzzo,
Colleen Schmidlein, Susan Sleight, Peg Thompson, Jonathan Towle
Prior to the business meeting:
Renee Mansfield, ACE Project Director, gave an introduction to the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia
(ACE). ACE is used for nearly all NECC students' programs (to take data, to individualize programs,
etc.) All teachers at NECC have access to this software and some in partner classrooms as well.
Truly one of NECC's outstanding contributions to autism education.
Meeting convened at 7:06 pm:
The minutes of the October meeting were approved.
The treasurer's report was offered in absentia
The report showed a balance remaining of $9264.93.
Subcommittee membership were discussed and the results are as follows:
- Activities Committee- discussion tabled until December
- Fundraising - Angela Masiello will chair, and Jill Mark will co-chair
- Legislative - Marcia Grenier will chair, Wandajune Bishop-Towle will co-chair
- Membership - Ellen Doherty will chair, Bob Ruzzo will co-chair
- Staff Appreciation - Ann Edwards will chair, Ellen Doherty will co-chair
The holiday chocolate staff appreciation gift is scheduled to be distributed on 12/13 between 1-5.
Next month's meeting will be on December 11 at 6:30 (earlier than normal), and a Holiday Social gathering will gather at Acapulco's after the meeting. See you there!
