Treasurer's Report (Annette Lazili):
A balance of $1702.17 of the PO's $12K budget remains. The fiscal year ends 6/30, so it
appears that we will stay within budget this year.
Activities Committee (Marcia Grenier):
Kite Day was discussed as a potential family event for April 2008. The possibility of having
a siblings-only event was also discussed.
Staff Appreciation Committee (Ann Edwards):
The Staff Appreciation Dinner May 9 was "the smoothest event we ever had." It was catered
by Ziti's. 422 gift cards were donated and raffled off before the event. 50 thank you cards
from parents were posted for staff to read. Ways to get more parents involved were discussed.
Fundraising Committee (Angela Masiello):
The 2007 Night of Music will be on Friday October 26. More corporate sponsors are expected this year.
Membership Committee:
No Report
Legislative Committee (Andrew Budson):
The state house issued a report on autism in MA, which has an incidence of 1/122 children vs. 1/150
nationwaide. Barbara L'Italien, who has a child with ASD, has introduced a bill that calls for
increasing autism funding by $15M. See the ARC website for details of the finalization of the state budget.
Miscellaneous (Rich Martin):
The NECC Parents' Resource Manual is being revised. Rich and Jeanette solicited contributions
from PO members. The manual covers area resources for hotel rooms and recreation, as well as
a bibliography and list of websites.

Discussion Group consisted mostly of parents of younger children in home based, pre-school,
and day programs. The 5K race raised 115K. 700 people registered. Special Friends Day will
be held on June 14th from 10-12.
