Bill
Ahearn, Director of Research:
> The Research Department consists
of three staff members and Bill Ahearn.
> All research is supervised by
the Program Director. Some Program
Specialists may supervise and then
report to the Program Director. The
Program Director reports at NECC Research
Meetings.
> Currently there are 11 working
groups; Behavior Assessment, Preference
Assessment, Stimulus Control, Verbal
Behavior, Speech, Training, Shriver,
Task Analysis, Preschool
> Currently 90 students are enrolled
on ongoing projects through the Shriver
Center
> Any questions about Research
should be directed to Bill Ahearn
via email.

Fundraising
Update:
>
Joe Ziska talked with the group about
fundraising. The Center is at 62%
of goal for the Capital Campaign.
> Tracey Sweeney informed the group
on her Cultivation Event in Boston
and encouraged others to have one
in their home or another venue.
> Susan Ruzzo said the “Night
of Music” committee met in the
morning to discuss the event which
is scheduled in November.

Staff Appreciation: Ann
Edwards said the Staff Appreciation
Dinner is scheduled for May 3rd. More
volunteers are needed between the
hours of 2 and 6:30 for set up, serving,
and cleaning. This year’s dinner
is an Italian theme, which will also
include a staff raffle.

Group with approximately 8 present.
> Marcia Grenier is looking for
restaurants and activities families
can do in the area.
