Post-Masters Degree Training in Applied Behavior Analysis
Northeastern University
NECC and the
Master's degree program in Applied
Behavior Analysis at Northeastern
University (MABA) collaborate to provide
a post-masters degree course of study
in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Program Description
The program has two primary goals: to extend and enhance the behavior analysis skills of trainees, and to prepare interested trainees to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The program
is designed to be flexible and to
permit trainees to take courses
over a one or two year period. Trainees
who successfully complete the coursework
and obtain the appropriate supervised
or mentored experience should be
eligible for and prepared to take
the BCBA examination.
Enrollment, Registration,
and Tuition
The program will enroll a small number of trainees. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a human-service related field. Application for admission with “special student” status will be made directly to Northeastern University. Trainees will register for courses at and pay tuition to Northeastern University. NECC will provide tuition reimbursement in accordance with employee benefits policies.
Transfer Credit to Other Graduate Programs
Trainees
enrolled in this course of study
may transfer credits to the MABA
program. Only two courses taken
prior to matriculation may be applied
towards the MABA program. Other
graduate programs may accept transfer
credit per their policies.
