Coming Together for NECC
NECC organizes and participates in a number of events throughout the year which are a critical piece of raising funds and awareness. Our three signature events throughout the year: The Carlos Placido- Dunkin' Donuts Annual Golf Classic, The 5K Walk/Run for Autism and A Night of Music are designed to bring participants from all walks together in support of a common goal; NECC's mission to treat children and families with autism.
With the help of our dedicated parents, friends, and corporate sponsors these events go a long way toward raising awareness and the funds necessary to maintain the excellence found at NECC.
A Night of Music
For twelve years, NECC has hosted an annual fundraising gala event, A Night of Music. Although the venue has gone back and forth over the years, a mainstay has been the music of Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Jazz Ensemble and String Quartet, directed by Rich Falco and accompanied by Linda Dagnello.
Held in early November each year, this night features extensive live and silent auctions.

5K Walk/Run for Autism
Over 1,300 participants join NECC friends, families and the local community at the Annual 5K Walk/Run for Autism in May to raise critical dollars for the Annual Fund! Thank you to all sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants for making this a wonderful day to celebrate our students, create autism awareness and raise important resources for our school. Save the date for next year: Saturday May 9, 2015!
Carlos Placido- Dunkin' Donuts Golf Classic
17 years ago, a staff person for NECC asked a neighbor who worked for Dunkin' Donuts to contribute gift certificates to NECC's first golf tournament. That's all she was looking for -- a donation for the golf auction. That brief encounter was the beginning of a long-term relationship and the foundation of the Carlos Placido - Dunkin' Donuts Golf Classic, which has helped raise more than $2 million dollars for NECC.
