The Centers for for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released its new estimates of the rate of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). The new figures are about 1 in 88 children which is a higher prevalence estimate than the last official CDC study but pretty much the same as the 1 in 90 rate suggested in other recent similar studies.
