Capital Campaign Announcement

7.30.2013

We are very excited to announce that NECC has entered the public phase of the Capital Campaign.  The campaign will fund the construction of The Autism Institute - an intellectual hub for treatment research - as well as the new Student Center on our Southborough campus.   We have currently raised an astonishing $7,585,500 and are well on our way to reaching our $10 million campaign goal.  We couldn't have come this far without two extremely generous gifts, one from NECC parents Diane and John Kim ($2.5 million) and one from the parents of another NECC student ($1 million).   We are so grateful to all of our donors and supporters who are continually working alongside us in our mission to serve more and more children with autism.  Stay tuned for more information about the campaign's progress!

About the Autism Institute and Student Center:
The Autism Institute will house a training center designed to enhance and advance the expertise of our NECC faculty as well as the expertise of teachers and clinicians working in public schools around the country and around the world.  In addition, the Autism Institute will house our Administrative and Research Departments, freeing up space to create a new Student Center in the existing building. The Student Center will include an enlarged student library, an expanded career development center, a school store, a student computer lab, and designated rooms for art and music enrichment.
