Workshops

NECC offers a series of continuing workshops aimed at providing professionals with the opportunity to pursue further education and training. Typically held at our Southborough campus, the workshops utilize a combination of lectures, group activities, and other methods to give teachers and other professionals the knowledge and skills they need to optimize their students’ education. Using an ABA framework, participants will be able to tailor their instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with autism. These strategies will enhance student participation within public classrooms and will assist with their full integration into their communities. Workshops such as our Autism Institute and ABA for Para-professionals are held annually and can accommodate up to 100 participants.

Upcoming workshops:

2010 Parent Traning Series and ABA for Educators

The New England Center for Children would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming workshops. Workshops are designed to support parents and families of children with autism as well as educators working with children with autism.

More information and registration.

NECC’s ABA for Educators workshops meet all the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Professional Development Points system. This allows participants to earn PDPs and maintain their certification by taking part in our programs. NECC also provides workshops that allow Board Certified Behavior Analysts to earn Continuing Education Units and maintain their certification.
