Training

NECC’s professional training services offer
educational opportunities for professional educators
and others working in the field of autism. These
individualized trainings are designed to provide
attendees with expanded knowledge of ABA practices
and principles based on NECC’s 30 years
in the field. Training classes range in length
from 1/2 day to multi-day sessions and are held
at a site designated by the school system. Our
training services are available to special education
supervisors, therapists, classroom aides, regular
education teachers, and administrators.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis? |
NECC
will work with school districts to customize a multi-day
program covering as many topics as desired. We also
offer training in Calm®,
our patented crisis management system that uses
verbal de-escalation and other protective measures
in situations of violent or self-injurious behavior.
NECC’s trainings meet all the requirements
of the Massachusetts Department of Education’s
Professional Development Points system, allowing
participants to earn PDPs and maintain their
certification by taking part in our programs.
