An expansion of our Classroom
Evaluations, NECC’s Classroom Consultation
offers schools the opportunity to develop a long-term
relationship with an internationally recognized
leader in ABA methodology. Consultations include
a comprehensive assessment of an existing special
education classroom and then provide extensive
feedback designed to help determine the program’s
needs, as well as guidance during the implementation
phase for any necessary modifications. The focus
of our Classroom Consultation can be on the needs
of an individual student or a small group of students,
or the program as a whole. These services are
available to special education supervisors,
therapists, classroom aides, and regular education
teachers.
NECC
will provide a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
who will evaluate the student or classroom and
the services that are in place within any school
system. After observing students, interviewing
key team members, reviewing data and records,
and performing other methods of analysis, NECC
will make recommendations to help improve the
program. These recommendations may include the
development of clinical or educational programs,
the implementation of new staff training strategies,
or modifications to the existing curriculum.
The key to the success of our Classroom Consultation
is the ongoing relationship that is built between
NECC and individual school systems after the initial
recommendations are made. NECC provides ongoing
support through the implementation process and
provides school districts with the guidance needed
to successfully apply new methods and practices.
Since programs vary considerably from community
to community, each consultation case is customized
to meet the goals of any school and maximize positive
results. Currently, NECC is providing consulting
services for more than 15 school systems in New
England.
