Shawn O'Brien
Director of Residential Services

Shawn O’Brien graduated from Worcester State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies. He joined the New England Center for Children in 1999 as an Overnight Professional in the Staff Intensive Unit. At NECC Shawn has severed in the Residential Services Department as a Residential Specialist, Lead Specialist, and currently serves as Director. As the Director of Residential Services he supervises 17 residences during the evening hours, providing crisis management in the following areas: behavioral intervention, medical care, house maintenance and general community integration issues for our population of students. He also supervises the residential program during the overnight and is responsible for facilitating on-going training for our overnight staff.
