R. Scott Barnes, MEd, SPHR
Director of Human Resources
Scott Barnes, MEd, joined The
New England Center for Children
as a teacher in February 1988.
His history at NECC includes many
roles in the clinical portion
of the program including, case
manager, assistant coordinator,
day coordinator, program specialist,
and program director. He received
his Master's degree in Special
Education in 1990 through NECC's
generous tuition reimbursement
program.
In 1998 he became the Director
of Human Resources. In this
role he is responsible for oversight
of the human resources department.
In addition, he supervises the
administrative services department
in charge of recruitment and
hiring procedures, employee
relations, staff activities
and supervisor training and
compliance.
