Michael F. Downey joined The New
England Center for Children in
1997 as Chief Financial Officer.
Mike is responsible for all aspects
of NECC's financial operations,
as well as NECC's technology and
facility departments. Prior to
joining NECC, Mike was the managing
director of a management-consulting
firm that represented NECC. In
that position, Mike was the client
manager for the NECC account since
1980. Other positions include
controller of a nursing home chain
from 1976 through 1980 and accountant
with a regional certified public
accounting firm from 1971 through
1976.
