NECC's Annual Fund Awards Dinner

On Tuesday, April 29, 2008 supporters of The New England Center for Children’s (NECC®) Annual Fund gathered at the Seaport Hotel in Boston to recognize our long-time supporters who help to sustain our Annual Fund.

Following dinner Vincent Strully, Jr., Chief Executive Officer and Founder, had the pleasure of presenting much deserved recognition to three outstanding individuals.

The first award was presented to Board of Directors member and long time supporter, Neal Faulkner, Franchisee, Dunkin’ Donuts. His leadership of our annual golf tournament has resulted in more than $1.3 million in annual support.

Betsy Dangel, NECC Board of Advisors member and parent of a child on the autism spectrum, received the next award. During our five-year Campaign for the Aquatic Center, Betsy lent her time and talents to the Campaign Steering Committee and is a leadership donor to the Capital Campaign.

Shawn Murphy, Director of Facilities for NECC, was recognized for his hard work as well as his continued support of the Annual Fund. Shawn, a “behind-the-scenes” kind of person, is responsible for the maintenance and operations of NECC.
