2006 9th Annual NECC Golf Classic

The New England Center for Children (NECC) hosted its 9th Annual Golf Classic at the Franklin Country Club on Monday, June 5, 2006. The tournament was renamed the Carlos Placido-Dunkin' Donuts Golf Classic in memory of Carlos Placido, a Dunkin' Donuts franchisee owner and long-time supporter of NECC. Dunkin' Donuts was the tournament sponsor of this event and all sponsorships SOLD OUT. More than 140 golfers took part in the tournament helping to raise over $190,000.

The Annual Golf Classic plays a key role in NECC's fundraising program. All money raised at this year's tournament will go directly to NECC's Annual Fund. Donations to the Annual Fund allow us to provide much of the vital equipment that helps each of our students reach his or her goals to attain greater independence. Support from individuals, corporations, and foundations have had a great impact on the quality of life for our children.
