Cammarie Johnson, M.A., LMHC, BCBA
Director of Education
Cammarie Johnson joined The New England Center for Children® in February 1988, and currently serves as Director of Education. She is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified behavior analyst. Cam is on the faculty of Northeastern University's graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis, and is a doctoral student in Western New England’s Behavior Analysis program. Her research interests include preference and reinforcement; functional assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, including stimulus control and self-management procedures; and classroom curriculum using match-to-sample and stimulus equivalence procedures based on learning principles and basic research findings. Cam’s work has been presented at local, national, and international conferences and has been published in peer-reviewed journals: Behavioral Interventions, Experimental Analysis of Human Behavior [abstracts], Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior. Cam has also served as a guest reviewer for Behavioral Interventions and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.
