Director of Health Services
We have a current opening for a Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to practice in our school clinic. The school clinic is well established with a unique in-house multidisciplinary team with strong professional support..
Overall Responsibility
The certified Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical support to our team of nurses, provide comprehensive health care to the students and organize the services of physician consultants
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivery of primary health care as a certified nurse practitioner
- Recruitment and coordination of physician providers
- Recruitment and supervision of nurses, nurse practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist and other health care and support staff
- Coordination of community based specialty medical services. Providing those health care providers with education and support to enable them to provide health care for the students and insure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Nurse practitioner who is Masters or Doctorate level prepared.
- Experience in a clinical setting along with supervisory experience required.
- Experience in primary care with a special needs population is preferred.

Development Assistant
Department: Development
Reports to: Chief Development Officer
Overall Responsibility
Working with the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Donor Relations, the Director of Annual Giving, the Managers of Special Events, and the Campaign Coordinator, the Development Assistant is an integral part of the development team, providing all administrative support to the Chief Development Officer and other staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the Director of Annual Giving in communicating with current and potential donors. Responsible for all gift processing, acknowledgments, and database management.
- Schedules and coordinates personal contact meetings pertaining to the Capital Campaign and the Annual Fund. These include solicitation and/or cultivation meetings, tours of NECC, and travel plans.
- Works directly with the Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer to generate presentations and reports for Board Meetings, and Board of Directors Development Committee Meetings, and Director of Annual Giving.
- Attends Board meetings and Board of Advisors events
- Attends all cultivation, solicitation, and general fundraising events to support the Managers of Special Events
- Telephone and direct contact with parents, foundations, corporations and others is a constant part of the job (in excess of 50% of the job)
Qualifications:
- Experience with PC-based word and data-processing applications (MS Word and Excel necessary; knowledge of databases a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- College degree and at least two years job related experience required
- Ability to deal with confidential and sometimes controversial information, requiring judgment as to reply or referral, when dealing with parents, foundations, corporations and others.
